During the processing of stainless steel bearings, all effective measures should be taken to minimize the occurrence of corrosion conditions and causes. In fact, many corrosion conditions and causes (such as scratches, spatter, cutting slag, etc.) have a significant negative impact on the product's appearance and quality and must be overcome. Below we recommend several common methods for rust prevention of stainless steel bearings.

I. Cleaning methods
(1) Surface cleaning: The cleaning method must be selected according to the properties of the stainless steel bearing surface and the conditions at the time. Commonly used methods include solvent cleaning, chemical treatment cleaning and mechanical cleaning.
(2) Surface drying: After cleaning and drying, it can be blown dry with filtered dry compressed air, or dried in a dryer at 120~170℃, or wiped dry with clean gauze.
In addition to some common organic acids that can cause stainless steel bearings to rust, some other substances such as human sweat can also cause stainless steel bearings to rust. Therefore, when we usually use stainless steel bearings, it is best to wear gloves or finger cots to touch the stainless steel bearings, and apply anti-rust oil to the stainless steel bearings regularly.
II. Anti-rust oil application method
(1) Spray method: Some large stainless steel bearings cannot be oiled by immersion. Generally, filtered compressed air with a pressure of about 0.7Mpa is used for spraying in a clean air environment. The spray method is suitable for solvent-diluted anti-rust oil or thin layer of anti-rust oil. In addition, comprehensive fire prevention and labor protection measures must be used.
(2) Brushing: This method is used for outdoor construction equipment or bearings of special shapes that are not suitable for immersion or spraying. When brushing, care should be taken to avoid accumulation and to prevent missing coating.
(3) Immersion: This method involves immersing the stainless steel bearing in anti-rust grease, allowing a layer of anti-rust grease to adhere to its surface. The oil film thickness can be adjusted by controlling the temperature or viscosity of the anti-rust grease.
